My name is Mohammad Abdool Raman, but please call me Mo. I am the Founder and CEO of MAR Immobilien Limited. My role is to lead and coordinate the specialists that make up our operation. With proven project management skills, I am ideally placed to bring together the practical experience of the many experts involved. From architects to electricians and more, I make sure we deliver properties that are the product of care and attention at every step. They are suitable for the demands of modern living without compromising on essential good quality workmanship - even (or perhaps especially) when you can’t see the hidden details.
I’ve long been fascinated by property and the impact that the built environment has on our day-to-day lives. I know how important it is to have somewhere to call home – and how much of a challenge it can be to find the right property at a sensible price. This is at the heart of what drives MAR Immobilien.
My professional background has been in sales, marketing, and business development within the telecommunications and IT sectors. My roles have covered project management, budgeting (budget development, forecasting, and management), team leadership, customer management, and reporting. I bring all of these skills to MAR Immobilien Limited and, with select specialists, apply them to grow this business providing more affordable homes in the UK property market.
My Story
I started my career in the IT sector, with a mix of service fulfillment and project management. From that, I discovered my passion for engaging with customers and understanding their motivations for purchase decisions. From this, I moved into a hybrid business development and marketing role. I learned the art of storytelling and how marketing can play an important role in engaging with anyone - and how marketing has the power to break down complex topics into clear visualisations of an event or process.
So... why property development? Well, since I was young, I have been fascinated by the beauty of architecture and how homes can build communities, and in some cases, from scratch. The UK needs more homes at sensible prices and I’m delighted that MAR Immobilien Limited can play a vital role in addressing this important need.
